Factory Supervisor
Salary AED 6,000 9,000

Our client is a manufacturing company based in Sharjah and is looking for a professional individual to join their expanding team.

The Supervisor is responsible to do the daily routine job, such as:
- The supervisor are responsible for the overall operations of the aluminum log to the factory (Stock inventory control) ensuring the quantity has been ordered according to the specifications, quantity estimated, ensure the productivity and quality standards are achieved in a safe and cost effective manner.
- This must be accomplished through understanding from the operations manager the details of every project, the input of every drawings, the results required from every project, capacity this project is required.

The supervisor should be responsible to do the following:
- Update on the inventory stock when it reaches the minimum to order new tools (stock inventory control).
- Day to day production management & Labor management.
- Orders delivery and material takeoff.
- Communicate the drawings to the labors and ensure they understand the SOW.
- Communicate the Cutting list and ensure the cutting is made with his supervision.
- Machine maintenance.
- QC/QA.
- Delivery from factory to site supervision.
- Optimization and waste management control.
- Also supervisor should also engage the labor at all process, discuss with them the identification of potential requirements and understanding the plan handed over by the operations, and ensuring adherence to the drawings, guidelines and specifications received by the Operations and meet the deadlines at a high quality standard is a core target. Review the productivity of the project on daily basis.
- Also, delivering goods to the clients in a high quality standards and goods to transit should be safe and secured until it reach the client on site.
- Conducting daily pre-shift meetings and monthly safety training meetings with employees is a regular responsibility.
- Ensures employees are trained to safety perform assigned job tasks.
- Using weekly manufacturing schedule and daily priorities, the supervisor assigns tasks and assignments to hourly production employees.
- Monitors work performance and provides feedback to crew members to ensure safe work habits are engaged 100% of the time.
- Enforces company policies and procedures.
- Identifies the need for repair of equipment and/or processes in assigned segment of the manufacturing process, and coordinates maintenance repairs in a manner that will minimize downtime and impact on production operations manual checking on the machines and report necessary maintenance schedule ahead of time.
- Completes production documentation and certifies that hourly time records reflect work performed.
- Meets or exceeds established quality standards identifying potential process improvements.
- Comparison between achieved, actual and to be done. Update project plan if required.
- Full control to the Stock Inventory & wastage recycle.
- Follow the quality assurance checklist of goods to transit.
- Needs to understand the technicality of the project productions.

Requirements

- Any academic certifications plus previous experience working in a heavy manufacturing industrial (Aluminum).
- +5 years of Aluminum job knowledge, experienced in the technicality of this field, able to read the drawings.
- 3-5 years supervisory experience is preferred with emphasis on process, safety, environmental, mechanical, labor relations and planning skills.
- Reports and writing skills.
- Communication skills.
- Leadership & managerial skills.
- Able to work under stress.
- Well organized.
- Must currently reside in the UAE.
