Field Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is an Automation and Control Systems company based in the Middle East.

They are looking for a Field Manager to manage the Field Services department and supervise the commissioning of control systems such as DCS, PLC and SCADA. Projects will be predominantly Oil & Gas focused in several locations across the region.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Field department and work with other related departments to ensure service requirements of client are met
- Assess the company workload and schedules for field services activities
- Assess resource requirements and ensure that sufficient manpower available to meet work demands
- Consolidate and update company procedures related to field activities and the responsibilities of the field engineers

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering subject
- At least 5 years Middle East experience – mandatory
- At least 8 years experience working in Commissioning of Automation/Control/Instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas
- At least 3-4 years experience in Managerial position for Site or Commissioning, leading a team
- In-depth knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA systems and requirements
