Job description / Role
Our client, a major multi-national consumer electronics giant, are looking for a Field Service Engineer within AV/HA
Core Responsibilities:
- Arrangement of Training sessions for distributors
- Keeping and updating trainee database
- Drafting and announcement of the correct procedures, policies and documentations requirements of repairs / defect phases
- Issuing of D/N, Payment Control
- Drafting and announcement of service bulletins for the department
- Assistance in warranty claim verification
Requirements
- An Engineer by education
- Inspect and test electronic equipment, components and assemblies using multimeters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes and other electronic test instruments, tools and equipment
- Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults
- Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment, assemblies and components by following equipment manuals and schematics
- Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
- Minimum 3 years working in the same capacity preferably with a MNC / principal
- Multilingual preferable
