Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse are presently in the process of managing a search for an international organisation, within their Abu Dhabi operation, whom are looking to identify a well-qualified and experienced Finance Administrator.

This Finance Administrator shall act as the sole representative, within the regional hub, and they shall take ownership across the full cycle of financial accounting whilst also being focused across areas of business support, payroll, expense monitoring and processing.

In conjunction, this Administrator will also deliver all areas of Tax accounting and VAT filing for returns, along with the management across the accounts payable function within the regional office. Across the financial operation, this role shall also take ownership of budget and planning cycles in the support of business objectives and group forecasting policy.

As a final point, the Finance Administrator shall also be required to manage areas of internal compliance, linking to both internal and external audit process and any local governance, which is overseen-by and reported-to various office hubs internationally.

Requirements

The client will look to recruit either a part-qualified or qualified Accountant whom is able to deliver a minimum of 5 years of experience, within the professional services and/or business support sector, with exposure to the UAE market.

The role demands a candidate whom is able to also demonstrate a track record within a broad ranging and multi-tasking job role; where they have delivered a diverse set of responsibilities whilst handling senior and internationally-based reporting lines.

The successful candidate shall possess strong and decisive communication and presentation skill, acting as a business partner, along with technically astute experience and a demonstrable hands-on track record. The ability to work with tight and strict deadlines shall be critical and the role will also demand advanced Excel capabilities; to develop reporting tools, any accounting policy and business commentaries in support of both operational and commercial objectives.
