Job description / Role
Charterhouse are currently managing a search for an investment group whom are focused towards the food & beverage and hospitality sectors. As part of their ongoing regional expansion, our client are looking to identify a Finance Analyst, to work within a centralized group function.
This role shall be heavily geared towards the gathering and analysis of financial data, to develop strong financial reporting and performance trend analysis, whereby all areas of commercial finance, cost and revenue streams and business partnering parameters can be assessed and controlled via accurate and robust budget planning. This functional role shall also extend to variance analysis; to ensure that rolling forecasts are developed and utilised in the management and control of commercial objectives and controllership.
Requirements
Our client will look to hire a professional qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with a demonstrable track record within financial reporting and/or financial planning and analysis related roles. Candidates shall be required to present strong Excel skills including a capability within financial modelling. In conjunction, to support the commercial aspect of the role, our client will look to hire a candidate with an exposure to hospitality related sectors and group of companies, to allow for an optimised support and value-add contribution. This Analyst shall also be expected to present reports and finding whilst being a critical interface with senior management and business heads.
