Charterhouse are currently managing a search, for a privately held regional group, whom are in the process of looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner (FBP).

At a holding level, this role shall oversee and manage areas of financial management, business planning and operational support across the group portfolio. This FBP shall be responsible for the implementation of the financial planning components whilst ensuring that all budgetary matters, cash-flow management and treasury positions are reported in support of the business entities. This shall allow for adequate funding, across the companies, whilst providing a financial reporting platform which supports business decisions and any analysis of investment expenditure. In conjunction, the FBP shall also be responsible for ensuring that both operational and cost efficiencies are assessed and optimized across the organisation. This is designed to ensure both adequate controls and governance whilst achieving operational synergies and alignment across the group business units.

Requirements

The client is looking to hire a qualified professional, with either an MBA or professional accountancy background, and up to 5 years of relevant post-qualified experience. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a strong understanding and track record within financial planning and management, whilst also being able to provide a detailed knowledge of business best-practice and commercial awareness, to allow for a strong advisory insight across CAPEX and OPEX. The client will look for an analytical candidate whom is able to develop and run financial models to support these processes. The nature of this business means that the client is looking to recruit a native Arabic speaker; this is complemented by the need to travel in support of the regional operations/office network.
