Finance Controller Assistant - Portuguese Speaking

Job description / Role

Areas of responsibility
- Preparation f IFRS reports
- Handle hedging and Derivatives accounting
- Handle African Accounting
- Preparation of Budgets
- Coordination in Audits

General daily tasks
- Experience with preparation of external financial reports according to IFRS
- Practical experience in Hedging and Derivatives accounting
- Mandatory experience in auditing, presently at experienced Senior Associate level or above
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, as well as testing underlying reconciliations
- Preparation of complex consolidation
- Preparation of budgets
- Co-ordination with auditors
- Proactive in development and improvement of business processes, as well as updating Standard Operating procedure

Requirements

- Fluent in written/oral English, Portuguese linguistic skills
- To be able to handle multi-tasks
- CA, ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent
- 5-8 years of experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing in one of the big4 firms
