Finance Director

Job description / Role

Our client is a government entity based in Dubai focused on the administration and regulation of key industry zones.

The role of Finance Director is to oversee all financial aspects of the organisation and be responsible for the flow of financial information. A particular focus of this role will be transformation, and so emphasis will be placed on applicants who can demonstrate experience of this area in their background.

Responsibilities for this role will include the following:
- Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Strategy
- Corporate Performance Management System Development
- Budgeting and spending allocations
- Financial Operations
- SLM - Outsourced finance
- Outsourced Agreements

Requirements

- MUST be currently resident in the UAE (applicants outside the UAE will not be contacted)
- Must have 10-15 years experience in Finance, including as a Finance Director
- Must have Dubai experience, particularly during the downturn of 2009-2010
- Must possess a mixture of both private and public sector experience
- Must be able to demonstrate Transformation experience, and the ability to build a finance function
- Must be a fully qualified chartered accountant
