Our client is a fast-growing food production company dedicated to delivering high-quality, safe, and delicious food products to consumers worldwide. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, they are committed to maintaining their position as an industry leader. To support continuous growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director with a background in manufacturing, particularly in the food production sector, and a strong foundation in cost accounting.

Reporting to the CFO, as the Finance Director for this expanding food production company, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategies, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations, and providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making processes. You will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize financial performance and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:
• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals, ensuring financial sustainability and growth within the food production industry.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial projections, providing accurate and timely financial information to guide strategic planning.
• Cost Accounting: Utilize your vast experience in cost accounting to analyze production costs, track cost variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial metrics, to the executive team and stakeholders.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal controls, while proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Capital Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential capital investments (new factories) and expansion projects, conducting thorough financial analyses to assess their viability and return on investment.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
• Financial Insights: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis, performance metrics, and industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
• Auditing and Taxation: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and maintain compliance with tax regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting to drive efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 50,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• A strong personality with excellent interpersonal skills
• A courageous, outgoing and career driven individual who comes from a food-production multinational company
• The successful candidate must still have plenty of room to grow & develop – longer term growth could include becoming CFO or regional FD
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced finance-related certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles within the food production industry, with a strong background in manufacturing and cost accounting.
• Proven track record of successful financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning in a similar context.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and production processes in the food manufacturing sector.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable conclusions.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements and optimizing financial operations.
• SAP experience would be highly advantageous
