Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a key role with a reputable distributor with HQ in Switzerland, operating in Asia, India, Europe and the Middle East.

You will be joining newly established operations in Dubai and reporting directly to the CEO. This role will be responsible for Establishing Banking Relationships, Managing Cash Flow, Raising Debt/Equity, implementing ERP.

Main responsibilities:
- Efficiently formulate and implement accounting methods, procedures, forms and centralize them for all regions – Asia, Europe, India & ME
- Plan, organize and direct the financial management of the company and activities of the finance department in compliance with all legal and ethical standards in all operating markets
- Establish strong relationships with banks
- Solicit and negotiate financing from capital markets and financial institutions and supervise relations and negotiations with them
- Effective Cash Flow management
- Review and recommend annual business plans and budget submission for the company
- Responsible for conducting due diligence, feasibility studies, financial planning of various projects of the company
- Supervise the administration of accounting, financial reporting, internal auditing, business performance management, revenue collections, risk management, and treasury & investment management for the company

Requirements

- Due to the regional exposure of the business preference will be given to German/French/Hindi speaking candidates
- Bachelor Degree as a minimum, professional accounting qualification will be a big plus
- 10 years’ experience with min 2-3 years in a similar Head of Finance/FD/CFO role in SME operating internationally and reporting directly to the CEO/Owner of the business
- Proven experience building strong relationship with banks, raising finance
- Entrepreneurial attitude opposed to being just ‘numbers’ person
- Able to clearly communicate company’s financial situation to the CEO/Owner
- Strong management skills including decision-making, negotiation, risk managements and interpersonal skills
