Finance Executive, Accounts Payable

Job description / Role

Charterhouse are presently supporting a client, within the logistics sector, whom are in the process of looking to hire a Finance Executive of Accounts Payable.

The Finance Executive will join an existing team and shall take ownership, within the payment function, across all areas of verification, processing and accounting whilst also managing all vendor reconciliations across a high volume of invoicing activity. The role will have a direct oversight of all data entries along with the management of journal and general ledger maintenance for reporting and accounts finalization.

The Finance Executive will take on the responsibility to manage and improve any payment-cycle policies whilst managing any queries across their network of vendors. In conjunction, this role shall also extend to the delivery of management reports and cash flow positioning; to support both internal treasury matters whilst ensuring adequate liquidity for timely payment processing.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, the successful candidate will have up to three years of experience, working within a payable and/or financial accountancy-based position coupled with exposure to working across an ERP platform along with an integrated accounting software. An attention to detail will be a critical aspect within the search; to ensure that verification and processing points are managed accurately across a large volume and high value payment transactions.

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the capability to liaise and manage vendors internationally, with both strong communication and reporting skills. Our client is looking to hire someone who is able to see a medium-to-long-term development opportunity across both finance and commercial matters within the organization structure.
