Finance Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is a reputable global financial services institution who have a strong presence in the UAE. Covering the MENA region they serve a number of customers in the form of Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Private Banking and Islamic Finance.

- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
- Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
- Producing long-term business plans
- Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
- Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
- Managing budgets
- Developing and managing financial systems/models
- Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
- Supervising staff
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
- Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and investment activities, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions.

Requirements

- Degree in Accountancy or a similar field
- 6 to 8 years work experience in a financial services institution
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and improvement of financial control functions.
- Western Educated

Salary: AED 35,000 - 40,000
