Job description / Role
Our client, a leading diversified organisation is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.
In this position you would be responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts and compilation of the board report in accordance with the requirements of the company including the preparation of periodic profit and cash forecasts. Compilation of the budget and long range plan to the Group instructions and timetable. Preparation of year-end financial accounts and associated audit and taxation packs. Control of cash flow within defined parameters.
Active involvement in Branch and Group management decision making, advising on Branch policy, assessing and proposing investment scenarios, acquisition and disposal. Branch secretarial duties; statutory, legal, insurance, audit.
Requirements
- Degree holder.
- ACA, ACCA or ACMA qualified Accountant, minimum 10 years senior level experience within Family Conglomerates/Real Estate/Construction
- Should possess strong professional contacts and will confidently assess financial due diligence of diverse business opportunities, investment proposals, acquisitions and JV’s.
- Must have a proven record in the accurate, honest and timely preparation of management and financial accounts and reports.
- Should be able to control compliance, MIS, cash and credit management, company secretarial matters, budgets and forecasts within an exciting, forward thinking and growing business.
