Job description / Role
The focus of this role is to contribute to the company’s growth from a finance perspective, support the overall operational business and management team in a diverse environment including setting up, maintaining and supervising the entire Finance department as well as the Property Management accounting.
This role is responsible for managing Finance department including accounting of the Property Management business line. The position reports to the CEO and COO and forms part of the Management Team.
The role comprises technical responsibilities along with a managerial and strategic contribution to the business with short and long term objectives.

The main aspects of this role include but are not limited to:
- Finance and Accounting (Oracle based software)
- Auditing, Control and Compliance
- Management and Statutory Accounts
- Reporting Budgeting /Forecasting
- Analysis for Decision Making
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of entire Accounting Function
- Cash Flow Management
- Preparation and supervision of Financial and Management Reports
- Recording and following up on all personal deals of CEO
- Supervising the Finance & Accounting Function of Real Estate Broker
- Preparation & Review Weekly and monthly reports
- Maintenance and review of Fixed Asset Register
- Management of Cash & Funds flow, Advising Management on Fund Requirements
- Reviewing and monitoring all daily transaction related to finance and accounts
- Reviewing bank reconciliation on daily basis to ensure effective control over the transactions
- Ensuring the payments are being done efficiently and suppliers are compensated properly and on time
- Maintenance of records, liaising with the developers on matters related to Personal Deals of CEO
- Reviewing the reports prepared by Accounts Team
- Preparation of accounting and control manual related to Finance Function
- Review & supervision of Month end payroll activity
- Month End accounts reconciliation and reporting
- Sending daily report regarding cheques and cash to CEO before the end of the day
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience at management level (with at least 3 years in the UAE)
- Strong in IT
- Proven success in meeting the requirements of a corporate environment
- An understanding of both local and national accounting practices
- Professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CA etc.
- Service industry background in a multinational corporate environment
- Credible / “Thick Skin”
- Perfect command over English
