Finance Manager

Job description / Role

A group of company is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join their Dubai Office.

- Oversee financial functions to make sure all on-going projects financial activities comply with internal standards and requirements.
- Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets.
- Develop and implement financial system, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards
- Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement.
- Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
- Prepare budget and cost management reports for all projects. Oversee budgeting and costs control based on the report.
- Implement financial forecasting and planning tools as needed to improve planning results
- Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
- Other duties as assigned by CFO, GM and Board Member

Reporting to: CFO
Working environment: Working conditions are normal for an office environment

Requirements

- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Work requires professional English written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Education: Master Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 10 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting with not less than 5 years in a senior level position
- CPA,CMA,CA is a plus
- MUST: Currently based in UAE
- MUST: Experience working in construction or contractor or Real Estate industry in UAE
- MUST: Familiar with accounts software
- MUST: Currently holding valid UAE employment visa.
