Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
• Providing factual and strategic inputs to the Chairman/CEO/MD and members of the executive management team on regular basis.
• Identifying and raising Red flags in timely manner with corresponding reporting teams and management to avoiding foreseeable cost or loss of revenue which may adversely impact the profitability of the organization.
• In tune and up-to-date with all Tax (and other financial regulatory) compliance requirements in order to adhere to the same, including VAT accounting, Report filing and Liability payment before the designated due dates.
• Finance cost to be controlled and reduced to the minimum by managing the cash flow efficiently
• Banking relationship to be maintained with key bankers for facilitating smooth banking transactions in timely and cost-effective manner
• Collating, analyzing and submitting client-wise sales analysis to the management for identifying key clients, reducing trends, discontinuing clients, etc. and assisting management for growth prospects.
• Staff timesheets compliance and checks to identify and report details for staff / department productivity as well as appropriate internal cost allocation for respective projects.
• Payroll processing on monthly basis
• Review supplier’s reconciliation and TYD supplier spends reporting to the management.
• Procim, Zoho and Xero system process and reconciliations checks in order to synchronize the data and provide system generated reports with minimum manual intervention.
• Managing the processes for financial budgets and forecasts, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting along with variances and analysis of the same along with corrective measures
• Establishing and developing relations with staff, senior management, external partners and stakeholders
• Reviewing all formal documentation amounting to contractual obligation related to Events, Finance, HR, Admin. and other related activities e.g. Client contracts, LPO
• Weekly and monthly financial reports related to targets, cashflow, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
• Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
• Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries on daily basis.
• Review and approve external and internal expenses incurred.
• Daily tracking of receivables and payables management.
• Preparing financials and ensuring timely statutory audits of the organization without any adverse comments / qualifications Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow.

Requirements

• Preferred candidates from the Media, Events, and Entertainment Industry
• Considering the role and corresponding responsibilities, honesty and integrity is a MUST for compete and absolute trust.
• Technically (accounting, finance and tax) qualified and experienced for managing and controlling organizational finances independently.
• Eye for details to identify and act appropriately on any financial, procedural or technical anomalies noticed.
• Strong personality to adhere the required checks and controls in place but with due practical consideration for the execution team to comply the same, being “support” staff in true sense
