Job description / Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, driven and proven finance professional to join our team as Finance Manager.
* Working on multiple Expo 2020 projects the position requires an understanding of local financial, regulatory and legislative standards.
* Due to Expo operating until March 2022 the position will be a 12 month contract position.
Requirements
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer your primary focus will be:
* Ensure highly effective financial accounting, reporting, forecasting, business analysis, budgeting and financial business planning across all projects
* Implement and manage internal controls for the requisition of goods and services
* Manage VAT returns, insurance and licensing requirements, including acting as the primary point of contact for tax, licensing and regulatory authorities
* Manage payroll for UAE employees and ensure compliance with payroll obligations
* To be successful in this role you will have the appropriate tertiary qualifications in finance / accounting with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
