Finance Manager - Agency Experience Required

Job description / Role

- Oversee and manage the day to day activities of the finance team.
- To ensure the agency finance function is organised, efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.
- Oversee the finance team, 1 senior accountant and 1 accountant.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
- Maintain financial ledgers and accounting processes
- Prepare Monthly Consolidated Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor
- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control
- Reconcile bank and investment accounts
- Manage cash-flow
- Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting
- Develop and implement policies and procedures required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure
- Assist the MD with financial reporting as required and provide advice to assist and support the decision making process

Requirements

- MUST have agency/media/event experience- You will NOT be contacted if you haven’t
- Degree in Finance
- Qualified Accountant
- UAE experience
- Manger experience- must have had people reporting to them previously
- 6+ years of experience
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Good Analysis skills
- Good with Excel
- 15-18k
