Employment: Full Time

European based food & beverage MNC is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the function based in Dubai, UAE.

Following a recent meeting with the General Manager of the business I have been charged with recruiting a Finance Manager for a globally known food manufacturer. This European company is a market leader in its sector and delivers its instantly recognisable brands all over the world. The Finance Manager will play a key role in the constant growth of this business within the Middle East region and report directly into Group VP Finance.

The role of the Finance Manager will be to oversee all finance and control matters so if you’re hands on and looking for a role that will provide you with autonomy and responsibility this could be of interest to you.

Specifics of the role include:
- Migrating the Finance function from the European head office to the Middle East head quarter in Dubai
- Implementing the business processes, procedures and policies
- Being responsible for developing the budget and financial planning
- Being accountable of company accounts ( AR/AP/ Credit Control)
- Liaising with the external auditors and ensure that company complies with audits
- Preparing and presenting business documents to the Group VP Finance

Requirements

For this role, we are looking for candidates meeting the following criteria. These are essential components for the role as this is a business critical appointment:

- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or similar) and a professional degree/certification such as CPA.
- Experience within the Food industry
- Experience in audit with a BIG4 is highly preferred
- Must have strong experience in a similar accounting/finance role
- Knowledge of Hyperion
- Perfectly fluent in spoken, written & reading the English language
