Finance Manager, Food Manufacturing

Job description / Role

Food MNC based in Dubai is looking for a strong Finance Manager to lead the finance function.

This is an excellent finance role to join a well-known and successful food manufacturing team. The business has examples of developing both junior and senior managers within the finance structure and beyond. The role would manage the Finance team and have two direct reports. The Finance Manager reports into the GM.

The business is well-known for its development of innovative and quality-led food products.

This Finance Manager role provides expert financial information and insight, to ensure there is clear and accurate financial performance reporting in place (daily/weekly/monthly).

Responsibilities include:
- Improving the business processes, as well as updating procedures and policies
- Being responsible for developing the budget and financial planning
- Being accountable of company accounts
- Preparing and presenting business documents to the top management
- Liaising with the external auditors and ensuring that the company complies with audit standards

Requirements

- Must be Arabic speaker
- Must be based in the UAE
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or similar)
- Ideally a professional degree/certification such as CPA, ACCA and ACA.
- Must have strong experience in a similar accounting/finance role
- Experience in auditing with a BIG4 is advantageous
- Knowledge of SAP
- Perfectly fluent in spoken, written and reading the English language
