Job description / Role
GulfTalent is one of the largest online portals serving the Middle East region, with offices in Dubai and London. Founded in 2005, it is now used by over 5 million individuals and 6,000 companies.
We are going through a phase of rapid expansion and require a Finance Manager to join our Dubai headquarters. Reporting to the Managing Director, and overseeing the accounting and finance function, the role will be responsible for:
- Managing the company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting.
- Overseeing the quality and accuracy of the accounting, payroll and payment processing services.
- Liaising with auditors in producing annual financial statements.
- Providing and interpreting financial information and predicting future trends.
- Conducting reviews and evaluation for cost reduction opportunities.
- General financial administration.
- Procurement and supplier management, including selection, appointment, and management of key vendors and office infrastructure providers.
- Reviewing and negotiating supplier terms, including liaison with legal advisors when necessary.
- Supporting the Managing Director on a range of projects and Company initiatives as needed.
The successful candidate will enjoy an attractive tax-free compensation package of AED 25,000 - 30,000 per month (equivalent to £50k - £60k per annum) depending on profile and experience.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in either industry or audit practice
- University education and work experience in the UK
- Management experience preferred but not mandatory
