Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an established cosmetics distributor based in the Middle East. Our client is looking to hire a Finance and Operations Manager to join their team.
Supporting the General Manager, you will lead all functions that relate to finance and accounting, corporate governance, supply chain, HR, legal, public affairs and IT. You will plan, develop and implement strategy for operations management and development. You will also establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational management as well as manage financial, accounting and business planning activities. In addition, you will be responsible for corporate governance, overseeing the HR function, logistics and supply chain as well as inventory and order management control.
Requirements
The successful candidate should possess strong leadership, communication and change management skills. You should be an analytical and strategic thinker with experience of dealing with supply chain and HR functions. You should also have a background of working within a consumer goods industry. Fluent English is essential whilst French and Arabic would be highly advantageous.
