Job description / Role
Reporting to the Finance and Operations Senior Director ME, this role delivers cross-functional and ad-hoc Finance and Operations projects in collaboration with the various departments’ leads and broader community.
Responsibilities:
• Lead development and delivery of new finance and operations projects in coordination with the Finance and Operations Director, in collaboration with the various heads of departments (Finance, Accounting, Business Operation, Strategic Support, Operations, Logistics, Procurement and Digital teams)
• Analyse end to end existing policies and procedures, in coordination with heads of departments; identify pain points and suggest recommendations; benchmark with other LoS where needed, focus on system and process improvements to cope with growth
• Gather requirements and objectives, outline project scope and create work plans, manage relationships with clients and stakeholders (IFS/client staff), prepare presentations and documents, follow through to ensure projects deadlines are delivered on
• In charge of disseminating the outcome of the Middle East Operation Committee initiatives to various counterparts, and follow up on projects execution where needed
• Re-engineer existing Finance and Operations processes for streamlined operations
• Work closely with the Digital team on suggesting and prioritising any digitization effort within Finance and Operations processes through existing and new tools
• Benchmark Finance programs/policies regionally and globally, identify gaps and opportunities
• Analyse trends and metrics to propose and rollout solutions, programs and policies
• Team up with other regions and Lines of Service to leverage successful initiatives and share best practices
• Establish and maintain close relationships with the broader Finance and Operations community (Finance, Accounting, Business Operation, Strategic Support, Operations, Logistics, Procurement and Digital teams) and other functions (Human Capital/Marketing/etc..), interfacing with them effectively. Contribute to an environment of teamwork and supports other areas as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
• University Degree, Finance specialisation
• 6-8+ years of experience in Project Management or Management Consultant Role, with finance focus
• Ideally proficient in English and Arabic

• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and succeed under pressure
• Ability to prioritize work and follow through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power point, Excel, Word), strong excel skills; Digital systems proficiency is a plus
• Flexibility to travel for business when neede
