Job description / Role
We are currently seeking a Financial Accounts Manager to work out of our busy Jebel Ali site. This role will have 9 direct reports within the Finance department and will report directly into the Finance Manager.
The Financial Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices, procedures and related company policies to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Particular attention will be on coordinating and documenting financial procedures relating to Freight Management, Contract Logistics and Automotive in order to provide controls to optimise business performance.
The Financial Accounts Manager will be accountable for producing and presenting monthly and ad hoc management reporting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow and will conduct P&L reviews with Business Managers for better understanding, reasoning for variances and exploring the opportunities for cost reduction.
Requirements
You will hold a professional qualification in Accounting and/or an MBA in Finance with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. You will have 20 years of experience in Finance which must include at least 4 years in a middle management role on a finance team.
You will have sound knowledge of IFRS, IAS and audit requirements and will have experience as a front line manager. You will have an analytical mind with the ability to communicate with people of various managerial levels.
