Job description / Role
Our client is a leading retail group, based in Dubai is looking to hire a Financial Analyst who would be responsible for the capital expenditure analysis and control.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Responsible for accounting, control, reporting, budgeting and financial analysis for FECs and ULOS across the portfolio.
* Responsible for preparation of consolidated management reports and financial analysis.
* Works closely with management to ensure financial integrity of all units’ operations.
Requirements
- Arabic speaker preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in same role
- Preferably master in finance, business administration or commerce (one of those); acceptable title of bachelor in finance or commerce (CMA, CPA,ACCA or CIMA are plus but not critical)
- Experience in Leisure and Entertainment operations ,in particular store and merchandise management
- Experience in finance department, particularly in financial control is an advantage
- Knowledge of accounting concepts and some knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge of investment appraisal process and capital budgeting
