Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Financial & Performance Reporting:
- Maintain weekly tracking report of sell-in revenue vs. outlook
- Prepare monthly sell-in/sell-out and profitability reports and ensure accuracy and consistency of information across different systems/reports. Raise red flags as appropriate
- Prepare quarterly achievement reports for distribution partners and calculate bonus pay-outs. Includes validation and review with sales managers
- Prepare other ad-hoc reports related to revenue/cost as required

Systems & Data Management:
- Ensure continued accuracy of customer/vendor database (SAP & Salesforce.com)
- Finance project lead for systems implementation processes (sales reporting systems, performance management systems, etc)
- Provide general support across all local teams related to systems/data management and analysis
- OPEX: support in yearly OPEX budget preparation and monthly tracking of actual vs plan

Payroll & Accounting:
- provide backup support on all payroll related matters maintaining full confidentiality of employee data.
- Manage monthly Journal Entries and ensure correct accounting

Policies & Processes:
- Assess compatibility and integration of world wide policies/processes/systems in the local environment
- Ensure compliance with stated policies and processes
- Provide support and backup for Finance Controller role

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree
- Computer literacy - MS Office Package ( i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience in sales analysis, profitability analysis, data management
- A proactive member of the Finance Team with good communication skills, a methodical approach to work and the ability to prioritize tasks
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Perfectly fluent in English (verbal, written) required; French and/or Arabic proficiency is an added advantage but not required
- Very technically strong / system-savvy person/ familiar with data management systems including excel
- Experience in data analysis: excel skills including formulas but not necessarily macros
- Ensure reporting is correct at all times, a lot of manual reporting would be involved
- SAP experience would be an added advantage; so would experience in Salesforce.com
- The candidate will be reporting to Finance Controller and working closely with Sales/Service Management Team.
- Perfectly fluent in English (verbal, written) is required; French and/or Arabic proficiency is an added advantage but not required
