Job description / Role
- Preparation, development and analysis of management accounting information and provide feedback to business/management.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Assist in preparing monthly management packs and segment & customer profitability
- Daily tracking reports for various products, segments, non-performing loans etc.
- Business commentary - Detailed analysis report highlighting the performance of the business group with highlights
- Forecasts - Rolling quarterly forecasts at business group/product level and elaborate the variances with the budgets
- Assist In preparation of annual budget a t group/product level with presentation to the senior management.
- Assisting the team in preparing various Ad hoc reports.
- Assist in analysis of financial statements of Peers & competitors & other entitles In the same line of business through computation of various ratios & other calculations providing support in taking important decisions, along with determining the most important sector of the economy to concentrate upon
- Assist in analysis of past macroeconomic variables to determine the state of the market in which bank is operating.
Requirements
- MBA/CA Inter/CPA/ICWAI, must be a proficient user of Excel/Access/business intelligence tools.
- A minimum 3 years of relevant experience in preparation of management accounts in a bank.
- A minimum 2 years of first-hand experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting
