Financial Controller

Job description / Role

Our client is a logistics company and they looking for a new financial controller to join their finance team in Dubai.
- Responsible for the quality of internal control
- Provides the Financial Director with reliable decision-making financial information.
- Manages the staff of the accounting department (4/5 staff)
- Good understanding of local accounting standards and tax laws.
- Highly experienced in transaction processing, system implementation.
- Highly numerate, analytical with good interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of local accounting standards and tax laws.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced changing business environment
- Ensure that transactions are completed in an accurate and timely manner

Requirements

- 5 to 8 years’ experience in accounting, finance; Strong in commercial finance is preferred
- Diploma or degree in Accounting/ Finance
- Can Start IMMEDIATELY
- Should have good communication in English (both written/ spoken) & negotiation skills
- ENGLISH speaking and writing is a MUST, knowledge of any other European languages would be an advantage.
- Computer Hardware savvy
- Experienced at working in an accounting focused environment
- Used to working in a team environment
