Large International Company based in Dubai has an opening for a Financial Controller position in their Renewable/Solar Energy Sector.

We’re looking for a high calibre, Financial Controller to take charge of a broad range of accounting functions. You’ll be responsible for all budgeting, financial forecasting and financial reporting in the Company. Also you’ll take responsibility for treasury management, accounts payable/receivable and financial compliance.

You will be required to manage the acquisitions, post-acquisitions and integration requirements for renewable energy entities in terms of accounting, reporting, analysis, treasury management and tax and etc. for a day to day support of acquired businesses and will be managing the financial and auditing matters for all renewable energy entities of the Company.

To fit in well, you’ll be hard working, conscientious with an ambition to help scale a company quickly. In this environment you’ll need to be resilient and resourceful – the pace is fast. Also, you will be a key player in the Renewable/Solar Energy business expansion plans related to the Financial and Tax Due Diligence implications as well as integration of the business.

Requirements

* You will be a graduate in accounting, finance or economics with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution; *CPA certificate preferred;
* Minimum 8-10 years’ experience with exposure to the renewable/solar energy industry;
* You should also have applied global accounting standards and must be fully competent with IFRS and IAS in your previous roles, and ideally worked within a global company.
* Experience in preparing board reports and analysis on the performance of the business and participate in preparing year-end statutory audit reports and mid-year reviews;
* Involvement in the implementation of processing and control systems in a time pressure environment;
* Experience in the application of internal control procedures and frameworks.

This role is offered on a fully employed basis, with a competitive salary (negotiable based on experience and set of skills) plus other benefits as per the UAE Labor Law.
