Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Manage the submission and feedback of the Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) process with the Anti-Money Laundering and Suspicious Cases Unit (AMLSCU)

Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Review and report all SARs to the AMLSCU via the Central Bank's portal in a timely manner
* Collect and analyse transactions and report these to relevant law enforcement units
* Review ant SAR feedback from the AMLSCU and action appropriately
* Track and manage AMLSCU feedback with various stakeholders
* The reasons why a SAR was, or was not, submitted should be appropriately recorded
* Prepare and update Management Information System on regular basis for all correspondences issued to the AMLSCU
* Identify trends and themes in the SAR intelligence
* Support the Senior Manager Law Enforcement in preparing any responses pertaining to SARs
* Ensure SAR reporting is completed within the agreed turn around time
* Assist the Senior Manager in maintaining a good Bank's relationships with the Central Bank

Stakeholders Relations
* Work closely with Financial Crime Intelligence Operations team to ensure timely data flow
* Support the Country Head of Financial Crime in strengthening the relationship with regulators

Requirements

* The role holder is preferred to have prior experience in Transaction Surveillance and Anti Money Laundering activities and processes.
* Experience of Financial Crime Compliance (or departments related to combating Financial Crime and Customer Due Diligence related activities)
* Have a good knowledge of Policies, Procedures and Standards relating to Financial Crime Risk, as well as knowledge of the local regulations and legislation on Anti Money Laundering / Counter Terrorist Financing and sanctions
* Must possess ability to assess risk , excellent interpersonal skills and multi cultural awareness and sensitivity;
* Good knowledge of banking products and support structure, strong written and verbal communication skills; general operational knowledge;
* Knowledge of Core Banking systems & other transaction & customer related systems
* Expertise in the practice and theory of Predictive, Risk and Data Analytics
* Expertise in developing visualization Dashboards
