Flagship Store Manager - Dubai Mall - Up to 12,000AED

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading retail art gallery concept originally from Germany. Soon due to open the Middle East flagship store in The Dubai Mall, we are searching for a strong Retail store manager that has experience within the luxury goods segment. This unique concept brings limited edition art to aspiring art collectors, making it affordable and accessible.

As a Gallery Manager you will be responsible for all of the day-to-day operations of store.

Key areas of responsibility will include; manpower planning, recruitment, staff training and development, execution of store standards, floor walks, cash management, safe management, inventory control and stock checking, receiving orders, visual merchandising, placing replenishment orders, daily sales tracking, ensuring business plan is hit, compiling weekly sales reports to be sent to head office and Europe, setting personal goals for each staff member, ensuring all customer sales leads are followed up and that all brand standards and store operating procedures are met.

You will also have to handle the VIP clients, talking them through the artwork, understand their needs at home and visualize what will work best. You will also at times need to liaise with shipping to make sure special orders are sent internationally. You will report to the Brand Manager who is responsible for overall marketing and buying. You will also be required to liaise with the other stores for stock transfers, support staff and sales leads. Any commissions will be paid out based on total retail performance and not a single store.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this role you need show an interest in art, and have a strong retail background within luxury goods sector. We are looking for someone who is flexible, very hard working and has experience in managing a small but highly skilled team of people.

You must have experience in working to set KPIs and demonstrate how you achieved them. You Ideal profiles would be store managers or department managers within the luxury retail sector. You must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and preference will be given to those who have Arabic/Chinese or Russian.

You must be well presented, confident and refined, with a classical sense of style fitting for the luxury segment. All candidates must be prepared to work a 6 day week and work the opening and or closing shift as required by the mall.
