Job description / Role
Job Summary:
- Provide essential repairs and maintenance services to the vehicles and ensure compliance of statutory requirements such timely technical passing of all vehicles in order to maintain uninterrupted fleet operation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out quality maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs works, including timely preventive maintenance & service schedule, (for both diesel and petrol vehicles) to ensure safety and reliability of the vehicles.
- Implement all statutory compliance requirements related to the vehicles such as timely passing of the vehicles to protect the company against any statutory penalties.
- Assess and procure spares needed for in-house maintenance as per the company guidelines.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to carry out repair to the accidentally damaged vehicles through their authorized garages and follow up with them for timely recovery.
- Attend to emergency calls round the clock for vehicles breakdowns in the field, assess the problem and carry out necessary repairs on site or recover the vehicle for in-house repairs.
- Maintain up-to-date record on all vehicles operating in the UAE for the purpose of efficient tracking of repair, maintenance and service.
Requirements
Education, experience and skills:
- Mechanical Diploma in Automobile with sound technical knowledge of repair & maintenance of both petrol and diesel vehicles.
- 3 - 5 years hands on experience of repair & maintenance of both petrol & diesel vehicles.
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Problem-solving skills
- Valid UAE Driving License - Manual
