Job description / Role
- Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies & procedures.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance records and repair costs & prepare charges for user departments.
- Maintain a complete inventory system (SAP) through recording all expenditures of each vehicle, Maintenance, Gasoline, repair parts, vehicle service purchase, etc.
- Keep vehicle maintenance and repair records of all departmental vehicles and order repair parts.
- Examine reports for accuracy on each vehicle & forklift repaired and write reports on vehicles & forklift.
- Answer questions and provide information to the employees, investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessary to resolve complaints.
- Implement and maintain a mechanic training and certification program to provide needed technical skills for mechanics in repair of Automobile equipment.
- Enforce city safety practices & procedures and ensures employees receive appropriate safety training.
- Supervise all Fleet service employees - train, evaluate and disciple direct team.
- Assist in the development of the fleet services budget, to include a review of past years expenses, adjusts and administers all Fleet services purchases, including parts.
- Perform all related duties as required.
Requirements
- Should have a minimum of Bachelor's degree
- Should have Managerial experience, handling a team ideally for a minimum of 5 years.
- Should be confident on MS Office and Computer skills
- Prior practical / working knowledge of SAP would be a definite advantage.
- Should have working knowledge of Fleet supervision.
