Job description / Role
For a Major and prestigious FMCG company!
We are looking for a Central Trade Marketing & Category Manager who will plan and lead the execution of all projects/actions aimed at becoming the preferred partner for industry retailers in the Gulf Area retail.
The main area of responsibility will be developing best in class tools dedicated to UAE retail catman, perform actionable shopper insight research in order to deepen the knowledge of retail shoppers, create and plan best in class concept of permanent placements and high profile promotion, successfully coordinate marketing & sales activities (such as new product launches, promotion evaluation learnings, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Marketing in optimizing category portfolio management, based on trade & shopper analysis.
- Lead Shopper insight projects and category management projects to optimize ranges and related merchandising.
- Own the Business Unit activity grid, in planning and evaluating promotions.
- Drive category development and relationships with the large retailers and establish collaborative relationship with clients category managers.
- Provide Area TM Managers with customer focused insights regarding the product and category.
- Identify and diffuse best-practice of CM tools from the markets
- Define & Provide guidelines to the Area Trade Marketing Manager for effective implementation of Global Trade Marketing guidelines into the different Areas.
- Provide Sales Team with WIN in TRADE argumentation to achieve sales target and the development of the brand.
- Supervise Retail global exhibitions executed in the areas.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3/7 years of professional experience in FMCG
- Category Management / Trade Marketing experience with a leading FMCG company.
- Strong understanding of business risks/opportunities and marketing/sales strategy and planning.
- Strong capabilities in managing multicultural team and high project management and analytical skills, High networking and strong presentation skills
- Project management skills
- Fluent/business proficient in English
