Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Participate in Fraud Investigations and Examinations in line with Fraud Investigation Manual, for professional practice of Internal Auditing. Participate in investigation of suspected fraud incidents in order to determine the occurrence of fraud, its exposure, root causes, parties involved (both internal and external) and provide appropriate recommendations to respective stakeholders.
- Assist Head of Fraud investigations in conducting fraud and misconduct investigations, special reviews and in building a strong Anti-fraud culture within the bank.
- Assist in maintaining an up to date Fraud Investigation Manual which guides the investigation process.
- Identify and discuss the control issues identified during the course of investigations with the respective stakeholders.
- Coordinate with HR, Business Line, Legal, O&T, Risk Management, Compliance and Corporate Governance, etc. in order to communicate and obtain requisite information to facilitate the investigation process.
- Responsible for investigation working paper documenting evidences supporting the investigation conclusion and legal process.
- Responsible for follow-up and monitoring of investigation recommendations and corrective action plan implementation by management.
- Assist Head of Fraud Investigations and Head of Fraud Risk Management in implementing a robust Anti-Fraud framework and creating an anti-fraud culture. Also assist HR in designing and imparting Anti-fraud training programs to the staff.
- Provides input for the revision of investigation approach to achieve specific objectives in more efficient/effective manner.
- Keeps informed about improvements and current developments in banking environment, and in fraud examination and investigation standards, procedures and techniques.

Requirements

- Must be Muslim
- Any nationality is welcome to apply
- MUST BE/HAS DONE EXAMINATION IN CORPORATE BANKING
- Candidate must be in Abu Dhabi
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution
- Certifications such as CFE, CFCI and CIA will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Fraud Investigation in financial service industry, extensive knowledge in fraud examination, fraud management, internal audit, internal control, risk management and corporate governance processes
- High degree of analytical, reasoning/judgmental skills
- Excellent communications in writing and verbal skills
- Good leadership skills
