WSP are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fuel Pipes Expert to join our team for an airport construction supervision project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As a Fuel Pipes Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the fuel distribution system at the airport. Your expertise in fuel pipe installation, maintenance, and quality control will be crucial in delivering a high-quality fuel infrastructure that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Installation and Construction: Oversee the installation and construction of fuel pipe systems, ensuring compliance with approved designs, safety guidelines, and industry best practices. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and inspectors to ensure timely completion of work and adherence to quality standards.
* Quality Control: Conduct comprehensive inspections and tests to verify the integrity and functionality of fuel pipe installations. Identify and rectify any deficiencies, leaks, or potential hazards, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of fuel pipe installation,? including as-built drawings, inspection reports, and compliance documentation. Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommended actions to the project management team.
* Compliance and Safety: Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to fuel pipe systems, ensuring strict compliance throughout the project. Promote a culture of safety, emphasizing best practices and enforcing safety guidelines to prevent accidents and protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and additional training in fuel pipe systems are preferred.
* Proven experience (15+ years) in the design, installation, and maintenance of fuel pipe systems, ideally within the aviation or petroleum industry.
* Comprehensive knowledge of fuel pipe materials, fittings, and construction techniques, as well as relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, NFPA).
* Proficiency in conducting inspections, tests, and quality control procedures for fuel pipe systems, including non-destructive testing methods.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
* Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to work within project timelines and budgets.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while adhering to safety protocols.
