Job description / Role
One of our major clients based in Dubai is in search for a Full Stack Developer to join their team. The person we are looking for lives and breathes front end engineering and is passionate about back end architecture and design. He/She would display their passion for quality and writing clean and robust code that scales and performs well.
The ideal Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the following:
• Front-end and Back-end web development
• Database Management
• Development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database
• Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
• Integrating the front-end components into the application.
• Understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.
Requirements
The experience, skills and education you will need to have:
• Good understanding of server-side PHP, Python, SQL Server, MYSQL, CSS preprocessors, such as LESS, SASS, .
• Proficient in writing application programming code, SQL script, designing database.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery scripting.
• Hands-on experience in source safe service like git and TFS.
• Knowledge of cloud service like Azure and Amazon AWS would be plus.
• Performing unit and overall testing.
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
• Work on bugs and issues as and when reported.
• Overall maintenance of the developed or already/existing developed software applications.
• Should be able to develop and deploy web applications independently and deploy at web servers.
• Must be ready to contribute in all stages of software development.
• 5-7 years of experience in web development.
• Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science/software engineering
