Funds Lawyer - 3 - 5 PQE - US international Law Firm - Dubai
Search Consultancy has been instructed on a particularly high level assignment in the UAE for a US International law firm who are seeking a Funds Lawyer to join their expanding practise in the GCC.
The client, as mentioned is a leading US law firm who have been based in the GCC for a number of years. They have an established presence in the Finance, Construction and Capital Markets sectors. The funds team has been expanding over the years and has reached a point where bringing on additional staff is required.
The education and background is paramount for this post. Funds lawyers DO NOT need to be based in the UAE but will need to demonstrate personal motivation for relocating to the region. Funds lawyer will need to have some exposure to the to the globes financial hubs such as London, New York, Hong Kong etc.
Funds lawyers will also have been admitted in a, recognised, common law jurisdiction. In addition they will have worked at a leading international law firm previously with a focus on fund transactions.
In house lawyers are encouraged to apply assuming they fulfill the above criteria and are confident moving back into PP would be the correct move for them.
The client has advised this is a funds role, not a corporate role that will deal with funds. Candidates are advised on this prior to any applications.
The salary will be at an International level salary of someone based in London.
