Furniture Installation Technician

Job description / Role

• Assemble and install a full range of office furniture, including cubicle workstations, desks, chairs, cabinets, and related products
• Work as part of a team, under the direction of a foreman
• Complete necessary paperwork, documenting items delivered and issues
• Represent ONE 52 professionally with clients
• Use tools and equipment properly and follow all safety procedures

Requirements

• Presentable and professional appearance and work ethic
• Maintain a positive attitude and show a commitment to teamwork
• Excellent attendance, and punctual with paperwork
• 1-2 years of experience with modular office furniture install preferred but not required
• Ability to work in teams and independently
• Adequate transportation to different sites
• Ability to work overtime and weekends
• Ability to read build log, layouts, and floor plans
• Installs and de-installs modular furniture systems as directed by Supervisor.
• Read and pull list for the build log
• Pushes furniture, equipment, and cartons on wheels to and from trucks, offices, and-
Warehouses as requested by the customer.
• May assist in setting & offsetting goods on equipment.
• Responsible for producing a quality install/move for the customer.
• Supports the install/move process by communicating with supervisors, the end users/customer, and other crew members.
• Uses extreme care not to damage goods or facilities during the install/move.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence.
