General Counsel - Bilingual

Job description / Role

Charterhouse are currently working with a international organisation who are heavily invested in the industry of sustainable energy. Our client is looking to hire a Spanish-speaking General Counsel for their Dubai office.

This role will have a heavy focus on corporate law, contracts and global corporate/commercial structures. Due to the company being a new and developing entity, experience working for a similar start-up, would be beneficial.

Essential work will revolve around intellectual property issues, patent filing and strategy as you will be working alongside the CTO through this process.

In addition, you will also be working alongside the CEO/Co-Chairman to handle other legal matters such as contractual and corporate issues.

Requirements

The client would be interested in speaking with a high quality practising associate who has considerable experience with patent filing, IP and corporate/contractual experience.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, in Spanish and English. Experience within start-ups and an interest in sustainable energy is advantageous.
