Job description / Role
The General Manager will be responsible for the entire exhibitions business within the exhibitions and events business.
Reporting to the Executive Director - UAE
Responsible for managing a team of Sales, Operations, various Shared Services staff of not less than 30 people in total.
Managing a business with a turnover of not less than $20m USD and entirley responsible for P&L
The General Manager's core duties are to run the Exhibitions business effectively, Lead the team and demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
Grow the business within the UAE, Ultimately responsible for the growth and direction and success of projects and operations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must of worked at a similar level position
Experience in successfully managing a turnover of $20m USD or more is essential
Strong leadership
Proven success growing an exhibitions business in the past (ideally most recent role)
Applicants maybe situated in or outside of the GCC at present, however, GCC experience is a strong preference. Experience outside of GCC is considered.
