Job description / Role
Our client is looking for a General Manager experienced in construction industries specifically on dewatering and pumping services.
• The role will oversee overall operations in GCC and ME area including business development, leadership, sales, and finance.
• This person is a strategic thinker in relation to establishing and strengthening current client relationships, as well as ensuring the creation of new ones to grow the business.
• The potential GM is expected to help cement the reputation of our client in the industry in becoming a strong market leader, raising the standard in its respective sector.
• This is a senior manager role and would then require experience in managing people (performance management, hiring, engagement, etc.)
• The potential GM will also be in charge of ensuring the company and its employees are compliant to specific health and safety measures
Requirements
• Understanding of Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years’ experience in designs, calculations, and solutions of over-pumping and industrial rental applications in the Middle East Region
• Experience in the supervision of geotechnical activities and use of the ‘observational method’.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel and possibly the world, for extended periods at short notice.
