General Manager - Finance - Al Futtaim Electronics - Dubai, U.A.E.

As a result of continuous success and expansion we are looking for a General Manager - Finance. On this role you will assume overall responsibility to manage end-to-end the Finance & Commercial activities through Financial Controllers for Business. Contribute to the overall success of Al-Futtaim Electronics by effectively managing all financial tasks for the division. Prepare yearly budgets and quarterly forecast including LTP & preparation of presentation pack for the board. Co-ordinate and prepare annual budgets, including operating and capex budgets + BRM packs.

This role will be based in Dubai. You will report into the Managing Director - Al Futtaim Electronics.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you should be a Professionally qualified – Chartered Accountant with minimum 10+ years’ proven track record of success in senior finance roles. Demonstrate a high level of experience especially in the consumer electronics / home appliance / retail industry. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.

Along with extensive finance experience you must have good commercial acumen, be confident, driven and a dynamic leader. You will be required to work on your own initiative and therefore a proactive personality is crucial. You should be able to build strong working relationships, communicating with various levels of management.

Expert knowledge of SAP is a must have along with deep knowledge of accounting / financial / commercial practices. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing various MIS. You must be commercially aware and knowledgeable of the industry & our competitors and have the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment amidst frequent change. You will need to have excellent business acumen & be a strategic thinker.
