General Manager - Organic Foods

Job description / Role

Client is becoming a Dubai institution within the fresh food sector. Having experienced phenomenal growth in the last 3-4 years they are seeking a dynamic and Entrepreneurial GM to further consolidate their strong performance across their retail, corporate, wholesale and distribution channels.

Key elements to the role include:
- Day to running of the business, including all operational and head office staff
- Drive existing and identify opportunities for new revenue streams
- Work to eliminate wastage from the business
- Drive further efficiency in the logistics operations
- Be a passionate ambassador for the brand external and an inspiring leader internally

Requirements

Other key attributes include:
- High levels of personal ethics and integrity
- Strong background in sales, relationship management and account management
- Have previously had responsibility for a significant P&L - between AED10million and AED50million
- Can commit to a 3-5 duration with the company - candidates who have 'job hopped' will likely be rejected
- Is not a '9 to 5' mentality
- Is able to bring and implement 'best practice' business processes into the business
- Ideally will have had exposure to the food sector - fresh food/produce in particular.
- The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and an opportunity to enter a potentially lucrative profit sharing scheme.
