Job description / Role
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Head with UAE market experience, to oversee a large portfolio and fine tune the Investment strategy whilst overseeing the operations of the ongoing portfolio, specifically - leasing, property management and facilities management teams.

Our client is a real estate developer seeking a General Manager to oversee the current portfolio and define the future property investment strategy.
Description
* Develop, communicate and ensure compliance of operations within the business unit to the overall company's vision
* Develop and oversee leasing strategy for the current portfolio including business development where required
* Develop and implement Facilities management strategy for property portfolio
* Further develop and fine tune development strategy to ongoing portfolio and identify new potential projects
* Full P&L responsibility including planning and budgeting for ongoing portfolio, reporting into Board and Senior Management
* Full oversight and understanding of local marketing and property trends
* Increase management effectiveness through training, leading and recruiting as and when required for existing teams

Requirements
* Bachelors/Honors degree in relevant field (civil engineering degree preferred)
* MBA (preferred)
* UAE Market experience
* 15 years overall experience , 5 years managerial experience (w.P&L)
* Strong strategic asset management leasing, property management and facilities background
* Experience managing a similar size and asset category portfolio
* Strong attention to detail
* Presentable, well-mannered and culturally fitted
* Demonstrated loyalty throughout work history
* Arabic speaker (preferred)
