Generalist HR Manager, Jebel Ali

The job holder will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Global HR Systems and Structures including Policies, Procedures.

Be a key contributor to the ongoing development and implementation of HR Governance including a HR Service Delivery model to align with the business strategy

Be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining a fit for purpose HR Information System to support Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning Management, Compensation & Rewards.

Systems & Structure
- Make a lead contribution to the ongoing development of HR procedures and structures
- Establish, maintain and review standard procedures and structures for all critical activities within the HR function.
- Ensure that all procedures within Integrated Management System (IMS / Quality Procedures) are fit for purpose in each situation and are in line with current and best practice.
- Provide Training and guidance information in relation to HR Procedures and Structures
- Develop the HR File Sharing System & Intranet, ensure that all key HR Policies, Procedures, Standard Forms, Structures and Guidelines are available to Line Managers and HR Teams as appropriate.

HR Information System
- Identify a new platform for adaptation as the company wide HRIS (currently CoreHR) to fit the needs of the business. Manage the selection process and once identified undertake the role of Project Manager for the implantation and roll out phases.
- Thereafter prioritise new projects and carry out the role of Project Manager for delivery of such projects
- Manage the adaptation and roll out of new projects and modules in close coordination with the Applications Support Team. This will include full costing and timescales for implementation and the approval process.
- Once approved manage the delivery of the projects so that they are delivered on time and within budget
- Work with all the stakeholders to ensure that HRIS is fit for purpose.
- Be the subject matter expert and competent to the level of Super User on HRIS.
- Identify and develop a network of Super Users across Kentech globe and leverage this expertise for the ongoing training and awareness for users in general.
- Develop new / improved reports, new projects and adapt change requirements.
- Strive for continuous improvement of the system and encourage maximum usage by developing and expanding the user base and the functionality of the HRIS.
- Approve new users and ensure access and security profiles are in accordance with agreed parameters.
- Set and agree User Profile Standards and facilitate / provide appropriate training for new and existing users including guidance notes and training manuals
- Monitor the performance of users and the corresponding quality of response of the support service.

Internal Auditing & Compliance Monitoring
- Visit Regional Offices to audit compliance with HR Procedures and Structures
- Monitor data integrity and user compliance for HRIS
- Monitor existing policies, procedures and structures as fit for purpose.

Reporting
- Prepare, validate and issue High Level Monthly HR Reports
- Provide bespoke ad hoc reports as required

Requirements

- Must have first class computer skills and have the knowledge and previous experience of having adapted and implemented a global multi-site HR information and reporting system
- Must have first class organisational skills and be capable of multi tasking
- Must be numerate with a high sense of attention to accuracy and detail
- Must have in depth knowledge of HR processes and possess an acute awareness of general legal principles and best practice
- Bachelors Degree
- CIPD or SHRM member
