Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for development, and implementation of a comprehensive diversity strategy Your key responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for development, and implementation of a comprehensive diversity strategy within the region.
- Works closely with the HR leadership and business leaders to develop, plan and execute on the Diversity & Inclusion goals and objectives within one or more countries within region.
- Serves as project manager overseeing the successful development and execution of Global Diversity and Inclusion (GDI) initiatives that are aligned with key business strategy components to attract, develop and retain an inclusive workforce of high-performing talent.

Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives:
- Leads and participates in employee informational programs.
- Develops, manages, and monitors process related to diversity metrics and makes recommendations as appropriate.
- Develops, implements and monitors diversity programs, interpreting data and assessing degree of participation.
- Develops guidelines for diversity activities.
- Stays current on diversity programs and initiatives including industry specialists in the field of Diversity and maintains working relationships with professional organizations.
- Provides means for measuring the effectiveness of diversity plans and initiatives.
- Serves as liaison between diversity focal, trainers, consultants, Human Resources organizations and business unit leadership.
- Conducts Human Resources reviews to reveal any barriers to valuing and managing diversity inherent in the system. Reviews survey results and create strategies to improve results.
- Benchmarks trends and issues; plan, organize and implement diversity outreach efforts and strategies.
- Develops diversity metrics - performance to plan. Integrates diversity elements into existing processes and systems and new processes and policies.
- Partners with diversity representatives across the enterprise to develop and oversee cross-business and cross-regional diversity initiatives.
- Effectively represents Boeing and engages with other Boeing functions (for example Global Corporate Citizenship, Supplier Diversity, etc.) and local D&I community partners to promote the brand and corporate responsibility.

Diversity Councils & Business Resource Groups (BRGs):
- Develop, implement and extend the reach within the region by establishing new chapters as needed.
- Manages diversity councils and business resource groups.
- Provides career development and educational opportunities for Business Resource Group members.
- Develops diversity plans in support of Integrated Global Diversity Strategy and site needs - includes budget, resources, activities, communication tactics and metrics.
- Provides innovative ideas and assistance in organizing network events to promote diversity awareness, networking and internal engagement.
- Collaborates across businesses and key stakeholders to support the career development and collaborations of BRGs and Diversity Council members.

Diversity Recruitment:
- Partners with Talent Management and Human Resources on executive succession planning.
- Partners with Global Staffing and Human Resources on local and regional diversity recruiting efforts; helps identify talent for internal needs.
- Is familiar with and develops targets to comply with company, local and regional workforce representation requirements.
- Develops and implements programs consistent with the goals and objectives of the company’s diversity strategy.

Diversity Training:
- Partners with Learning, Training & Development (LTD) to help develop and deliver content for diversity and inclusion education programs that will drive culture change towards a more inclusive work environment.
- Conducts appropriate subject matter training in the areas of non-discrimination practices, diversity and related areas as determined by management for Boeing employees, managers and executives and company officers, through classroom, web-based and individual instruction to ensure awareness and compliance with company policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Leads and works with the others to implement enterprise-wide training programs in the field. Serves as a resource for ad hoc training events.
- Manages the delivery of all diversity and inclusion training programs including but not limited to unconscious bias, inclusive leadership and all diversity training programs.

Diversity Communications:
- Manages benchmarking and awards submissions as part of the evaluation but also to increase our presence as a preferred brand and employer in the marketplace.
- Supports internal communication campaigns to promote understanding and celebrate diversity and achievements and external/PR strategies to integrate diversity messages and increase understanding.

Requirements

- Cultural oriented , Global Orientation, HR Experience mainly in talent and acquisition
- 8-10 years’ experience Level
- Master, MBA degree is preferred with excellent English language skills

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE law. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all UAE labor and immigration formalities.

This job may be level 4 or level 5 and will determined by the level of experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, in relation to the scope and responsibility of the position.
