Argyll Scott is currently partnering with a leading FMCG company in the region with leading consumer brands across Arabia, Africa and Asia.

Our client is looking to hire a Global Marketing Performance Manager for its F&B business.

Marketing Performance Manager is a critical commercial role responsible for the global analysis, monitoring and reporting of the world-wide Marketing performance and ROI for the Business Units.

This role is the center for all global marketing spends with media agencies, innovation agencies and insight partners. Commercial in-charge for the Group Marketing function, the incumbent will be responsible for both marketing spends and efficiencies management and driving a strong marketing performance culture across the organization.

A key partner of the Finance team within Marketing and guardian of brand and customer profitability and leader of portfolio rationalization and performance across markets, the role will require intense co-ordination with Marketing, Business Units and Finance.

This role will also be the gatekeeper for all Marketing KPIs monitoring and roll-out as part of Business Intelligence framework. The incumbent will have full authority and responsibility to roll-out and institute leading edge marketing performance frameworks across the organization.

The role is based at International Foodstuffs Companies global head office in the UAE and will require up-to 20% travel.

This is a major commercial co-pilot role for the world-wide Marketing organization of OFC with strong matrixed working with the Finance organization with the following key responsibilities:
- Lead Brand and SKU Profitability Analysis for the Business.
- Consolidate brand profitability and performance world-wide.
- Support central purchasing in negotiations with agencies, media and innovation and insight partners.
- Responsible for tracking all media spends in markets.
- Responsible for tracking working and non-working marketing spend.
- Responsible for reporting annual margin expansion target.
- Responsible for reporting the customer-wise brand performance and profitability.
- Track promotion ROI performance.
- Track marketing campaign ROI performance.
- Shapes the margin improvement agenda for marketing function.
- Responsible for recommending SKU rationalization and logic across business groups.
- Reporting and tracking Global CMI spends and setting improvement targets for profitability.
- Acts as marketing performance co-pilot to businesses.
- Drives marketing performance excellence of the Oils, Fats and Culinary/Condiments businesses through the roll-out marketing performance, tools and best practices into business.

Reporting Relationship:
- Global Marketing Performance Manager will be part of the Global CMO Organization and report directly into the Global Head of Marketing Development. He/she will have a dotted line relationship into the Finance Director and Business Unit CEOs. He/she will have working line with the Global Marketing Manager, Global Consumer Insight Manager and Global Marketing Capabilities and Communication Manager, who will be peers based in HQ. The incumbent will have close working relationships with the Director-Procurement and the purchasing team.

Requirements

A Master in Finance/B.Com from a reputed school, Global Marketing Performance Manager will have 8-10 Years of hands on experience as business controller in FMCG or related industry as part of a Marketing/Business team.

With a strong commercial background, he/she would have strong experience in management accounting and end to end P & L for big consumer brands. He /she should have strong knowledge of financial performance reporting and tracking and a working knowledge of portfolio management. A self-starter, action oriented with good understanding of Marketing, the incumbent will have strong attention to details and a thorough understanding of Business/Marketing KPI setting and management with the ability to translate these metrics to actionable Performance improvement programs for the teams.

Strong commercial/financial management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Experience in FMCG is preferred but not mandatory.
