Job Title: Global Product Owner Cryptocurrency
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Purpose:
They are seeking an experienced Global Product Owner of Cryptocurrency to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cryptocurrency-related products and services, ensuring that they align with the bank's strategic goals and customer needs. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in the cryptocurrency space.

Key Responsibilities:
Accountabilities for Business, Customers, and Stakeholders: 

Product Vision and Strategy:
• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the bank's cryptocurrency offerings.
• Align product development with the organization's strategic objectives, market trends, and customer needs

Backlog Management:
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects stakeholder input and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure that the backlog is effectively managed and delivered.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, compliance, and risk management, to gather requirements and provide updates on product development.
• Engage with customers and partners to understand their needs and feedback to inform product iterations.

Agile Product Development:
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Provide guidance to development teams, ensuring clarity of product requirements and goals.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that cryptocurrency products meet regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with cryptocurrency products.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the cryptocurrency space.
• Analyze market data to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities.

Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy:
• Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new cryptocurrency products and features.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to drive product adoption and customer engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Agile certification (e.g., CSPO, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product ownership, with at least 2 years with a focus on cryptocurrency.
• Strong experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital assets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in banking or financial services is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the cryptocurrency space.
