Client is a rapidly growing cosmetics company based in the United Arab Emirates. They manufacture a brand of high quality skin and body care products. The existing range is crafted with natural ingredients and blended to deliver the harmony that is essential to healthy skin and well-being. Despite being a relatively young and independent brand they have been shortlisted in consecutive years at regional beauty awards in the region, challenging the major Multinational Cosmetic companies. The brand is regularly featured in some of the most highly acclaimed magazines across the world.

Client is seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Global Sales Manager in order to expand product sales in our products on an International basis. This position will assume primary responsibility for managing:

- Current distributors
- Direct brand and customer relationships
- Development of new opportunities throughout the globe.

This individual will support the Managing Director in leading the delivery of the product lines from development to sales, with the focused goal of bringing products to market followed by growing the business. He or she will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communications, task tracking, and risk management for successful execution of product planning, development, distribution marketing, and sales.

This role is responsible for the revenue growth of the business with direct accountability for the customer, partner and distributor relationships. This includes managing the customer/partner/distributor through:

- Collection and prioritization of product and customer requirements
- Managing and executing market and product research programs
- Collaborating and negotiating with customers to ensure mutually successful business plans
- Coordination and delivery of the marketing programs and deliverables that support the business strategy in the region

The Global Sales Manager has the following accountabilities:

Sales and Customer management:
- Accountability for monthly revenue forecast
- Ensure on-time, on-budget sales revenues and delivery to customers
- Manage relationships with distributors and key partners, including leading participation in key customer visits, industry events and conferences.
- Establish and build long-term relationships
- Train distributor sales representatives on products and work with them to expand product penetration
- Addition of new distributors in uncovered territories (identification, due diligence, selection, contract negotiation and execution)
- Analyze market data, trends, competition and opportunities, and make strategy recommendations to Commercial team
- Explore novel and innovative applications for products
- Develop close partner relationships to ensure collaborative focus on accelerating commercial and sales timelines
- Develop the core sales positioning and messaging for the product in different parts of the world

Requirements

- Degree Educated
- Significant experience as in Sales, Business Development and Account Management from within the Cosmetics Industry.
- Must be independent, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Demonstrated success in growing product sales through successful customer management
- Good analytical skills and market research ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Fluent in English
- Strong cultural awareness of the EMEA region
- Willing to travel

Whilst the business is located in Dubai, UAE, the successful candidate maybe located in any country that will enable successful execution of this role.

Candidates without significant experience in Cosmetics / Personal Care products will not be considered for this role.
